FAQs

What are your certifications?
I have attended OPTS - Certified Personal Trainer.
*more information here

I am also FIC certified by Singapore Sports Council. I further improve on my knowledge through

  1. Seminars & courses conducted by experts
  2. Experience gained from clients and myself
  3. Reading articles and books on fitness
  4. Experimenting with myself

It is important that trainers update their knowledge through constant learning than having a good certification and that’s it. Be assured that I will have the necessary knowledge and soft skill to help you to achieve your fitness goal.

Why are your rates more affordable than “market rate”?
Fitness is my passion. I know many people are interested in PT but they cannot really afford the rates offered by mega-gyms. I hope that more people will have the access to know the correct way to attain their fitness goal.

It is a norm for mega-gyms to provide facilities such as sauna & hot bath etc, you are paying more (on top of the membership) for these facilities.

Will you guide me in my diet planning?
Yes.

Any extra hidden charge?
There is no extra charge other than those stated here.

There is a need to purchase SMFR kit at $30. The kit includes a 6" foam roller, 1 tennis ball and a mini band. I will include 1 golf ball if available.

Is it a must to train 2-3 times a week? Do you just want to earn money?
Training at least twice a week is necessary to achieve. You will need constant training to get result.

The most number of sessions recommended for general population is 4 times weekly. (With a 4-day split program) That is only for intermediate clients who have progress pretty far.

You look too small to be a personal trainer.
“You don’t have to be a bodybuilder to be a personal trainer”.

My fitness goal is simple - “keep fit, keep healthy and be lean”.
